Westcappers

The industry standard in capping for parenteral packaging, the Westcapper series offers a wide range of sizes and capabilities up to 750 vials per minute. The RW series utilizes a solid rail which gradually forms the seals as the vial rotates. This system simplifies the operation, enhancing reliability and reducing moving parts. The RW NS also meets European Annex 1 requirements for the Manufacture of Sterile Medicinal Products. To learn more about Annex 1 and the NS Westcapper go here…
- Consistent stopper pre-compression.
- Laser system reads relative distance from bottom of capper head to top of bottle-rest table for precise, repeatable, and user-friendly setups.
- Vial-infeed and jam control sensors.
- Automated ramp-up eliminates abrupt motion which would cause vials to fall.
- Raised Stopper Detection available on most models.
- Applied Force Monitor option will monitor and control the RW Capper vial sealing process. A quartz sensor measures the applied force at the exact time each vial is sealed.
Other units include: the PW and NPW Westcapper series which incorporates three spinning rollers to ensure secure, smooth seals on a consistent basis.
